This happens all of a sudden.
How may colleagues did we lost this way just in the past few years?
But this time, to me, was the suddest as she was not just a colleague, but a good friend of mine since we studied together at Uni.
It's paricularly sad also because this was not just a redundancy, but was exactly the case that an employee paid the price for the managements' inability to make right decisions.
Inability to put the right person in the right position.
They should be ashamed that they lost another dedicated and hard working employee because of poor decisions they made.
Having said that, it is a chance for her to make this unfortunate turn of events an opportunity to go find a better place where she can get the best out of her.
You don't need to waste your time and ability any more.
It's a new chapter of your life, my friend!!
